Chocolate covered strawberries, dipped in tempered chocolate, are a favorite romantic treat on Valentine's Day or other suitable moment.
1 bowl of tempered chocolate
1 pint rinsed and thoroughly dried strawberries
1. Hold the strawberry by the top third of the berry, squeezing lightly (try not to bruise the berry!)
2. Dip 2/3 into the chocolate, shake off the excess, and place on waxed or parchment paper.
3. Let sit in a cool place for 15-20 minutes.
