Chocolate Bourbon Bark

This Chocolate Bourbon Bark can be served up on a festive plate or dressed up as a gift in a decorative tins box, plate or bag. This bark with a bite can't be beat!


2 tablespoons bourbon (we suggest Jim Beam Bourbon)
⅓ cup almonds


  1. Break up the chocolate into pieces and put into the microwave for 15 seconds, in a microwave safe bowl or plastic container. Check to see if melted, and then repeat the process as necessary.
  2. Add bourbon, and gently mix together with a spoon.
  3. On aluminum foil, arrange half of the almonds. Pour the chocolate over, and then stick in the remaining almonds vertically into the chocolate.
  4. Place flat into the freezer to set for 30 minutes. 
  5. Break into pieces.
